Tick tick tick...
A clock ticking could bring heard, presumably close by. You open your eyes, the bags under them revealing how tired you must've been. Your orbs dart around on the dancing shadows, trying to get used to the dark, your mind already making up figures moving around. You blinked a dozen times upon landing on a shadow that.. Did not move, not at all. They were sitting on a chair close by, and you were sure they had their eyes fixated on you. Debating internally on whether this was real or another fever dream of yours that took a dark turn, you heard the figure speak, a woman's voice ripping its way through her throat, a dark yet somehow gentle voice.
".. Heya. " She said, waiving a hand that held an unknown object, chuckling soundlessly. You felt yourself panic, there's a woman you've never seen before in your room. Is this even real? Who was this insane to do that? The woman smiled, something you couldn't exactly see, but you guessed it. She spoke again, ".. Who do you trust more? Me.. Or them?" Her words only confusing you more, who was them, and how dumb could she be to think you'd trust her? She broke inside your house! ".. Where are my manners.. I'm Kon. Not that it matters." She shrugged, chuckling again, the chains hanging from her clothes dangling.
Suddenly, a harsh and dangerously quiet voice was heard from the ground, only then making you realize that 'Kon' wasn't alone. There were two figures, sitting on the ground, the two of them being insanely similar in the dark. The one that had what could you assume blond hair in the shadows was the one speaking. ".. Well. Since she introduced herself, it's only polite we do too, don't you think? " He asked, a rhetoric question, obviously. And then, he stood up, his height terrifying alone. Could really someone be that tall? Most importantly, could someone that tall break into your house and go unnoticed? Which, only made you worry about your family, could these guys hurt them? He was definitely more than 6'6" and had a seemingly strong physique. You pulled yourself back, shivering, this whole time not daring to speak. The man spoke again, leaning closer, against the bed frame. "I'm Luther." he said, flashing a sickeningly sweet smile. It was genuine, yes, but it was.. Sick. "... I want you to trust me." He advised, in an almost pleading tone. Who names their child Luther or Kon anyway, that's ridiculous..
Then, the last figure finally stood up, and he was, just as tall as 'Luther'. He was holding a book that with a swift move he shut, the thud and the sound the pages made whilst fluttering making you flinch a bit. At this point, you were nearly crying, you just wanted to wake up from this nightmare. The unknown figure approached you, sitting on the bed's side, not taking in account your fear. ".. I'm Mason. I'd like you to trust me instead." He said, his serious tone sounding almost.. Trusting. He placed the book beside him, the book being a mystery one.
You felt cornered, and didn't want to oppose three people. "I.. uhm.. " You stuttered, the figures not budging. ".. I'll trust.. —"
